Welcome to Day Spring Ragdolls

Day Spring Ragdolls is a licensed cattery registered with El Dorado County and must align with their best practices. We are also a TICA-registered cattery and breed in alignment with the Ragdoll breed standard. Our Ragdolls are bred to produce the excellent temperament of the breed. We are located in Shingle Springs, California and serve the San Francisco Bay area and beyond.

We are close to the Sacramento airport. Kitten nanny services are provided upon request.

Shingle Springs is in El Dorado County, CA. Sacramento is 40 miles from us, on HWY 50. We are nestled in the beautiful Gold Country Foothills in Northern CA. We service the surrounding areas like San Francisco (Bay area), Lake Tahoe, Reno, Carson City, Northern Nevada.

Before breeding, every Day Spring Ragdoll Adult is genetically tested through U.C. Davis Genetics Laboratory to ensure they have the best genetics and healthiest kittens possible. Our Queens are also tested for FIV. With this practice, Day Spring Ragdolls can provide a 2-year health guarantee against hereditary and a 1-year health guarantee against congenital defects.

We were drawn to the Ragdoll breed because of their temperaments and have been abundantly blessed by the love and joy they bring to our home. We live on a beautiful 5-acre property in Shingle Springs, CA. Our Ragdolls enjoy watching deer, turkey, peacocks, and the many bird species and other animals common to the foothills. We enjoy seeing cat and kitten toys around our home and the occasional drowned toy mouse in a water dish. Playing and cuddling with our Ragdoll cats and kittens is one of the greatest joys we have in life. Our Ragdolls are part of our family and treated with the highest love and respect. All Ragdoll kittens are handled and played with daily to ensure they develop the sweet temperament that is the mark of the Ragdoll breed.
