Welcome to Day Spring Ragdolls, where we specialize in raising affectionate, purebred Ragdoll kittens with a gentle spirit. Our cattery in Shingle Springs, California, provides a calm and nurturing start in life, with daily attention and play. Every kitten is carefully socialized and loved, making them not only beautiful but also wonderfully people-oriented and ready to be cherished in their new homes.
No special paperwork or approvals are needed — just a loving home ready to welcome a new kitten.
Day Spring Ragdolls is a licensed cattery registered with El Dorado County and must align with their best practices. We are also a TICA-registered cattery and breed in alignment with the Ragdoll breed standard. Our Ragdolls are bred to produce the excellent temperament of the breed. We live on a beautiful 5-acre property in Shingle Springs, CA. and serve the San Francisco Bay area and beyond. Our Ragdolls enjoy watching deer, turkey, peacocks, and the many bird species and other animals common to the foothills.
We are close to the Sacramento airport. Kitten nanny services are provided upon request.
Shingle Springs is in El Dorado County, CA. Sacramento is 40 miles from us, on HWY 50. We are nestled in the beautiful Gold Country Foothills in Northern CA. We service the surrounding areas like San Francisco (Bay area), Lake Tahoe, Reno, Carson City, Northern Nevada.
Before breeding, every Day Spring Ragdoll Adult is genetically tested through U.C. Davis Genetics Laboratory to ensure they have the best genetics and healthiest kittens possible. Our Breeding Ragdolls are all tested for HMC, FeLV/FIV, and PKD. With this practice, Day Spring Ragdolls can provide a 2-year health guarantee against hereditary and a 1-year health guarantee against congenital defects.
We devote 12 to 14 hours a day to hands-on care, gentle interaction, and thoughtful exposure to the everyday rhythms of home life. Our kittens are lovingly handled, played with, and spoken to throughout the day to build the trust, confidence, and affection that make them ideal emotional support animals.
