Day Spring Ragdolls began with a simple conviction:
that care, practiced daily, shapes who animals become—and how they connect with people.
What started as a love for the Ragdoll breed grew into a broader vision rooted in responsibility, gentleness, and respect. We raise kittens not as products, but as living beings whose early experiences matter.

Located on a peaceful 5-acre property in beautiful Shingle Springs, California, our home is filled with love, nature, and the playful spirit of Ragdoll cats.
As a licensed breeder registered with El Dorado County, we follow the highest standards for ethical breeding and animal welfare. Our cattery is also proudly TICA-registered, ensuring our breeding practices align with the official Ragdoll breed standard.
How Our Kittens Are Raised
Our kittens are raised inside our home, not in a separate facility. From their earliest days, they are part of everyday life—held, spoken to, and gently introduced to the world around them.
Our Ragdolls are raised alongside the sights and sounds of deer, wild turkeys, peacocks, and native songbirds. We cherish the joyful moments of finding toy mice in water bowls, watching kittens chase feathers through the halls, and snuggling with our cats on quiet evenings. Every kitten is raised underfoot as part of our family, with love, respect, and constant care.
Our approach includes:

Space to develop confidence without force or overstimulation

What Is A Day Spring Ragdoll?
Each of our kittens is bred with intention, care, and integrity:
- From TICA-registered, genetically tested parents
- Backed by a 2-year genetic health guarantee and 1-year congenital health guarantee
- Raised with love, socialized with children, and handled daily
- Given age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming
- Parents test Negative for HMC, FeLV/FIV, and PKD
- Raised to thrive as cuddly, well-adjusted companions

Where We Are
Day Spring Ragdolls is located in Northern California on five peaceful acres designed to support calm, cleanliness, and intentional care. Visits and experiences are offered by appointment and inquiry, allowing us to protect both our kittens’ wellbeing and the quality of each interaction.
Shingle Springs is in El Dorado County. Sacramento is 40 miles from us, on HWY 50. We are nestled in the beautiful Gold Country Foothills in Northern CA. We service the surrounding areas like San Francisco (Bay area), Lake Tahoe, Reno, Carson City, Northern Nevada.
